To use it, combine two cups of filtered water with two teaspoons of ACV. Consume this mixture on a daily basis until all the pain is gone. Also, you can add the ACV to your bath and soak in it. Do this for at least 30 minutes per day.

Another way you can use apple cider vinegar is to mix a tablespoon of it with the same amount of olive oil. Apply the mixture on the affected area and massage the knee two times per day.

2. Cayenne Pepper

To use it, In a one and a half of cup of warm olive oil add two tablespoons of cayenne pepper powder.

3. Mustard Oil

This may seem strange, but applying some mustard oil can help reduce the inflammation, pain, and boost blood circulation. To use it, you will have to heat two tablespoons of mustard oil. But, be careful not to overheat the oil.

Next, chop one garlic clove and fry it in a pan. When it turns brown, remove it from the heat. Now, your oil is cooled. Strain it and massage the pain with the lukewarm oil. Wrap your knee with a plastic wrap and cover it with some warm towels to keep the heat.

Do this two times every day for two weeks.

4. Eucalyptus Oil

This oil has potent pain-relieving and analgesic properties. Therefore, it can help reduce the knee pain and treat arthritis. According to a study issued in the Evidence-Based Complementary and Alternative Medicine journal, even inhaling this oil can reduce the inflammation and knee pain.

To use it, add seven drops of both peppermint and eucalyptus oil in a dark glass bottle and mix them with two tablespoons of olive oil. Store the container somewhere away from direct sunlight. At last, you will be able to use this remedy.

5. Sesame Oil and Lemon

If arthritis is causing your pain then you should use lemon. The lemon can provide some excellent pain relief especially if arthritis is the cause of your problem. To use it, you will have to make it first. Start by cutting one big or two small lemons.

Cut them into small pieces and wrap them in a cotton cloth. Now dip the lemon in some warm sesame oil. Finally, place the cloth on the affected area and wait for 10 minutes for it to take effect. Repeat this process two times every day or until the pain is completely gone.

For even better results, drink the lemon juice with a half a teaspoon of baking soda in a glass of warm water. Besides, this is an excellent morning drink that will help completely detoxify your body.

6. Fenugreek Seeds

These seeds have powerful antioxidant and anti-inflammatory properties. As such, they can be immensely useful for relieving knee pain. To use them, you have to soak them first. In a filtered water, add one teaspoon of fenugreek seeds and let them soak overnight.

Next, roast them and store them in a proper airtight container/jar. Now, use two teaspoons of this powder and add some water to make an adequate thick paste. Apply this paste on the affected area and let it sit for half an hour.

Finally, wash the area with some warm water and repeat the same procedure two times per day in a week.

7. Turmeric Powder

This powder is by far the most favorite remedy across the world. It contains anti-inflammatory and antioxidant properties which make this remedy the best for reducing knee pain. To use it add one-half teaspoon of both turmeric and ground ginger in a cup of water and bring it to a boil.

Let it boil for 10 minutes. Next, strain everything well and add as much or as little honey as you like. Drink this remedy and enjoy.
