Are you one of those people who seem to have way too much on their mind to remember everything? On the other hand, you have people who literally memorize absolutely everything and every little detail that could exist.

You seem to always need a little bit more time to catch up on what’s going on, and your friends often make fun of you? We’d like you to know that we understand what you’re going through. Not only that, but you’re probably one of the billions living with this issue.

Recently we’ve found out about this technique to try out that can potentially help you out with improving your memorizing skills. If interested, you can proceed reading more about it down below!

The Forgetting Curve

Before we begin, we’d like to tell you more about this method. Hermann Ebbinghaus, a German psychologist, came up with this method after pursuing dozens of experiments. Learn more about the “Forgetting Curve” below.

The Forgetting Curve consisted of a list of nonsense words which helped the psychologist actually measure someone’s memory skills. Once finishing the experiment upon himself, he realized that he forgot most of the information in about twenty minutes. Even though he forgot almost 2/3 of the information, the rest sill remained in his memory.

Another interesting he managed to come up with, is that humans actually process information a lot better when they repeat something more times than once or twice. The more you repeatedly study something, the bigger shot you’re going to have at memorizing it.

So, we guess that our advice is to study harder so that you memorize the things you need to forever. Another thing you could do is keep a journal and to-do list so that you’re never out of touch with what you need to do.

Good luck!
