The truth: I really, truely struggle with Instagram. Some weeks I just don’t have the mental energy, and this week it is totally one of those times (hello solstice 🌑). I really freaking love this community, and am so grateful for what I get to do here, but it’s just one of those weeks, you know? . Honestly, some weeks I just really struggle to keep up with being an active part of this online community. I struggle big-time with the screen time, even though I *love* seeing your posts, reading your captions, and getting to know you all better. I struggle swapping my ‘real’ world, for time here (but I do love you guys!). I struggle with the huge commitment, and pressure and the anxiety that comes with being here. . I struggle replying to your thoughtful comments, and replying to emails and DMs on top of all the other computer work I do (mostly Lightroom). I struggle with the gram. I struggle staying in contact with my friends outside of the internet world (anyone who knows me well will agree 😂), let along this crazy/awesome space. . I struggle, and that’s ok. I’ve always struggled keeping up with relationships because honestly, it doesn’t come naturally. I’m personable, friendly and a conversationalist when I want to be, but underneath it all I like to be a loner. Give me a book, a fire, my family and something to pour my creativity into and that’s my happy place. . Behind every image is a real story, and today, this is mine. .
