The 1 Minute Practice To Destress After A Day At Work

Spread the love

Do you ever get home from a long day in front of a computer and feel ‘caught up in your head’? Your thoughts may be racing and you probably feel a little scattered, too.

If this is happening regularly for you, it may be the result of Electromagnetic Field Radiation, otherwise known as EMFR. It’s a common affliction for office workers, but can affect virtually anybody living in ‘civilized’ society.

Discover how EMFR may be affecting your health and how one simple, daily practice can help to counteract it.

What Is EMFR?

EMFR is both a natural and manmade phenomenon. In the most basic sense, it is the accumulation of electrical charge and is invisible to the naked eye. The earth itself emits a certain amount of natural radiation and EMFR is also generated by storms.

However, EMFR is also artificially transmitted via electrical devices in modern society. Computers, microwaves, X-rays, radio waves and cell phones all contribute to our daily dose of EMFR.

Human exposure to EMFR is higher than ever before, and many natural health experts contend that this has a real impact upon our health. Researchers explain that EMFR can damage our DNA and interfere with cellular processes, leading to ailments such as:

  • Headaches
  • Infertility
  • Lower immunity
  • Impaired cognitive function
  • And much more!

You can read more about the adverse health effects of EMFR in my previous article here.

Even if you don’t suffer from these extreme side-effects, most of us are accumulating EMFR throughout the day, which can dull our well-being. And while I suggest lowering your daily load of EMFR by using suitable protective devices on your cell phone and computer, there’s another easy and natural solution that I highly recommend…

Barefoot Grounding

I believe that we can learn so much from young children; they aren’t indoctrinated with societal expectations and are therefore more attuned to what their bodies need.

And one fascinating trait about children is that they love to play outside without shoes! My friend David Wolfe – among other experts – explains why this may be so; the Earth has a powerful energy which can counteract the effects of EFMR. The electrons transmitted by the Earth may even help to fight inflammation and enhance immunity. There’s just one caveat: We must be barefoot to connect with it.

These days, we are sooooo disconnected from the Earth’s natural energy source. From the moment we wake up and our toes touch carpet, to the moment we arrive home clad in work shoes, our feet have not had a chance to hit the Earth.

I personally feel the consequences of this very strongly after an airplane flight. It’s a double whammy as the aircraft itself is a huge source of EMFR. Additionally, being miles up in the sky means that we are even further apart from the Earth’s essential energy source. Nothing rejuvenates me more, or eliminates jet lag faster, than barefoot grounding and reconnecting with nature.

What Is Barefoot Grounding?

Luckily, there’s no complicated formula for doing barefoot grounding! Essentially, all you need to do is take off your shoes and spend some time connected directly with a natural surface. Rock, sand and grass…Whatever takes your fancy!

David Wolfe’s team also offer some great alternatives, which I think are wonderful if you don’t have a natural area that is accessible nearby. You could lift your face to the sun or touch a tree (even hug it!). Spending time around plants, such as by gardening or watering a small private collection, can be very grounding too.

I recommend starting with just one minute of grounding each day to dispel any EMFR and feel instantly calmer. Although I dare say you’ll want to spend more time simply because it feels good.

Have you tried barefoot grounding and experienced any benefits? I’d love to hear from you in the comments below!
