It is an unfortunate fact that negative energy is all around us. From the people we communicate with to the entertainment we indulge in negative energy is everywhere, and it really takes a toll on the body.

Overeating or not eating enough are signs of energy shifts. If your weight has fluctuated drastically it is important to address it. Listen to the cravings or lack thereof. Pay attention to the signs of an unhealthy body or one that is just suffering from negativity though emotional obstruction.
Stomach pain is another potential sign of the presence of negative energy in your body or in your environment. You could be stressed or holding onto tension in your belly. A stomachache can really tell you more about what is going on with you than you think.
The adrenal glands help the body respond to anxiety and stress; however, dealing with large amounts of negative energy can cause the adrenal glands to become overtaxed. Having problems breathing is another indicator that negative energy is taking a toll on your body. Reiki master Stacee Magee told Romper that, “So, for instance, grief is held in the lungs and when we experience grief we hold that emotion in the lungs.” Grief settling in the lungs can cause difficulties while breathing because you are overwhelmed with emotion.
Negative energy can manifest itself as chronic pain. Negative energy can cause muscles to constrict and tense up. This constant stress will lead to fatigue and physical pain.
Negative energy can also show itself as depression. You can’t just get rid of it or think happy thoughts so it makes sense that there could be a lot of negative energy clogging up your life and embedding itself into your daily thoughts and experiences.
