Food pads have been popular in Japan for hundreds of years. Their effects seem to be as positive as acupuncture, which makes the people feel more energetic. As a result, they can improve the nervous system and the overall health.
As Dr. Dietrich Klinghardt of the American Academy of Neural Therapy, claims, foot pads have a psychological effect. Therefore, they boost the metabolism, which in the end helps detoxify the kidney cells, liver and blood.
These foot pads work on reflexology, a popular healing method for the reflexes, system, and organs inside the body. By stimulating the reflexes, the areas respond positively to the pads and promote health and energetic pathways.
What to Expect from Detox Pads?
Many people have more energy, sleep better and develop positive thinking by applying these pads. Moreover, the detox pads might be useful for relieving migraines, chronic pain, or fibromyalgia. As such, they can be very beneficial for the entire system.
How to Make Detox Foot Pads
To get rid of all the toxins in your body, here is how you can make your own detox foot pad at home. They are simple, easy and quick to use. Plus, to make it, you will need affordable ingredients which you can purchase anywhere.
- tablespoon of chopped garlic
- ¼ cup of ACV (apple cider vinegar)
- tablespoon of chopped onion
Put the ACV in a saucepan and let it boil. Once the bubbles start to appear, add the garlic and onions to the saucepan and let them boil in the vinegar for 10 minutes. Remove the pan from the heat and let it cool down completely for about 20 minutes.
Take some gauze pads and saturate them in the mixture, without drenching them. However, make sure not to wet the adhesive, since it is important. Next, squeeze the liquid from the pads and apply them on the foot’s sole.
Put on some socks and go to sleep.
