11 Natural Ways to Ease Your Toothache

There are a lot of pains that you feel in your body that can be intolerable. But, nothing compares with an apparently harmless toothache.

The pain you feel in your teeth is very serious since it links areas of your head, and it very close to your brain.   2. Ginger Cayenne Paste

    This is a treatment that will improve your oral health and prevent pain, bleeding, infection, and swelling.

    In order to make the remedy, you need to make a paste from ginger and cayenne. Take a cotton pad and dip it into the mixture, then put it on the tooth in pain. Avoid using the paste on your tongue or gums. You should leave it on the tooth till the ache is eased, and be careful not to eat it.

  3. Salt Water Gargle

    This mixture contributes to throat healing and keeps your mouth healthy. Just combine one tsp. of salt with one glass of hot water. Look out not to cause burns with the boiling water. Then, take 30 seconds to gargle, and spit it out. If you think it is necessary, do it again.

  4. Peppermint Tea

    The oil of peppermint lowers inflammation, and as some studies say, it is a great way to reduce the pain too. Make a tea from one tsp. of peppermint leaves, which have stayed in the water for twenty minutes. Drink the tea. Again, you may do chew the peppermint leaves and put it on the affected area.

  5. Myrrh

    According to RDH. Myrrh has astringent features that reduce inflammation and bacteria. Make a mixture of one tsp. of myrrh in powder with two glasses of water. Cool it off, use it as a remedy at the most six time a day. Do this after you eat.

    Moreover, take a myrrh tincture and mix it with water. Take a cotton pad and soak it in the mixture, then simply put it on the tooth in pain. In order to prevent kidney damage, do not use this remedy for a long time.

  6. Fresh Garlic

    As you already know, garlic is a great natural solution for many problems, even toothache. The allicin found in it destroys bacteria and infections in the oral cavity. You need to use fresh garlic because the heat may make changes to its features.

    Take one garlic clove and crash it, let it stay for fifteen minutes to discharge its useful qualities. After the needed time passes, add salt, and put it on the tooth that aches, or just chew it with the painful area.

    Repeat every treatment two-three times per day.

  7. Extract of Vanilla

    Put a little bit of vanilla extract on one of your fingers and rub the painful tooth and gums at the same time. You may do this up to three times a day.

  8. Turmeric Paste

    To make this paste, you need one tbsp. of coconut oil, half to one tsp. of turmeric powder, and several drops of peppermint oil.

    Also, subgingival peri pathogens can be treated with essential oils. These essential oils may ease the tooth pain: myrrh, cinnamon, clove, spearmint, peppermint, and tea tree oil.

How to Avoid Tooth Pain?

Even though there are many treatments that will help you ease a toothache, you are supposed to take care of your teeth. You need to brush your teeth two times per day. Also, you can floss your teeth, but it is good to ask your dentist for advice.
