Do you have a hard time falling asleep?  Do you wake up stressed every morning? If the answer is yes, then you should try this out.

Many people find it difficult to calm their brain when they try to fall asleep. But, it seems that one method has become immensely popular. A wellness practitioner from Harvard University, Dr. Andrew Weil is the one who created this groundbreaking breathing trick.

He studies breathing, meditation, and how you can use these techniques to reduce stress. And it is quite easy.

‘’4-7-8’’ Breathing Trick

To do this, breathe through the nose for 4 seconds. Hold it for at least 7 seconds and exhale through the mouth for 8 seconds. This technique slows down the heart rate and releases the chemicals in the brain.

You might feel skeptical at first. But, if you do this repeatedly for 4 times, it can knock you out. Also, this trick can reduce the stress and the release of adrenaline from the endocrine system through the adrenal glands.

The adrenaline can increase the heart rate and make you feel unwell, making your breaths shallow and rapid at times. Therefore, this is a good way to fall asleep easier and faster. By using this method, you can force the body to slow down the heart rate and counteract the natural effects of adrenaline.

However, there is a small catch. You might feel a bit uncomfortable at first, but after a while, you will get used to it. The more you do it, the more you feel the heart rate slow down and your mind clear. It might even give the effect of being at a sunny beach surrounded by the vast ocean.

So, relax, and give this a try tonight. Don’t forget to tell us your results and leave us a COMMENT. If you like this post, make sure to SHARE it with friends and family.
